The thing is it runs and I don't want to rip it apart before I got mostly what I need to put it back to running. We like to let the kids drive it, and we use the spot in the garage to drink neer!

Just checking, did you put something in there to protect the threads on the end of crank snout?
You bet!! I seen one on sale, but it was for next week "want it now" at a store 45 mins away so that would take at least 2 hours and made in china, this took a hour and made in Canada!
Yes! I used the factory bolt in the crank snout to press against. Nothing sucks more that focking up the threads, On anything!
