I am going to change them to 16s though any way... so I can use my old tires from my Duramax.

It kind of funny you asked me that...two of my 16.5 have them and two don`t.
They came off a 76 3+3 2wheel drive that I bought for parts a few years ago.
Then I was looking at the 16`s that I got with the 82 that I bought and they don`t have safety beads. And I only got two of them with the truck the other two are newer.
I've never seem a 16" wheel that didn't have safety beads.

Got the 3/4 ton axles in,cut some holes in 2 wheel caps.Took Buck for a ride.

Dave, I like it the way it looks too. Not to tall to be useable especially cause for what we use it for...don't have to jump up into it every time we get in and out.
Just need to get all the chrome trim back on and Renes 454 under the hood.
Because we NEED to have more power to drive around the farm!
