The truck had a tilt when I got it...it was loose, swapped in one out of a 76 no tilt, swapped the 465 trans into the truck and used the column out of the donor truck "82 3/4 ton diesel" It has tilt...but I had trouble starting the truck thought it was the column, swapped the 76 non tilt back in...still had trouble starting...it was the starter. Got gangrene with a manual non tilt column and swapped that in, that was the column that was in it last but the key was worn out, that is where I was the other day. Now it has the original to the truck auto loose tilt in it, It is coming out and I am going back to the 82 manual tilt column.

Or change the cylinder lock?
It was a auto column.
Quicker to change out the whole deal...and I was in a rush to get it moved.
Makes a funny noise when is gets warm sometimes and the oil pressure drops off , so it sits till I get to it.
I did something with it today...
Nothing new... just using it here and there.
Hooked to the 18 footer for some new deck boards.
Painted the boards with use diesel oil.
