Met up with Rick Shady and Tony Trea18 on thurs after picking up a hood from Ratlover
Friday made our way to DIY4X and Kert finished the tank about 10pm
Hanging out with Brett Kert Tony and Kerry in the shop
Kerry is building headers for his drag camaro
Brett is working on his rig
Kert is working on everything

tank construction pics...Kert had the tank to this point when I arrived on Friday...we added the submersible 1/2id fuel line and tacked the spider and pickups to the floor of the tank, then started on the lid....cut the lid to size, welded the fuel plate retainer ring bolts to the ring (this gets put on from the underside of the lid and then the fuel plate fits down over the welded on bolts. That was a hassle as the bolt pattern of the fuel plate was an out of pattern plate (maybe a second?)

Adam and Nate, your **** made it home in great shape, Rick bundled them together and they rode comfy in the back.

Brett caught me hard at play with Konner and the trains....he was fun to mess with while running his trains!

On the way home we were expecting to run into the snow storm that was rolling through the midwest, but didn't get anything except around the tip of Lake MI....otherwise all dry roads!
