Hmm guess this got by me, but I thought I would try to quiet it down some as last years hack job on the flomasters sounded like crap.
I just put a pair of Hooker competition turbo mufflers on, theory are just as loud as the 40's I took off ..... Hopefully the sound check police are forgiving???

Just changing oil, and checking fluids, suspension, steering and need to get the cap and doors off and put on the summer gear, rear seats and harness'

Dam right, if only my A/C was working in the barn I would get a lot more done!
I think I'll stay with The aluminum for the dunes.

Can't help but notice that the road has a pretty bad surface on most of it....then it gets nice and smooth right where the Maiden is parked.
Almost seems as if someone was setting up for a big, smoky burnout on the fresh pavement.... and all that BBC power only got as far as the bellhousing.

Naw Dave likes to do that in other peoples garages.
Well I did a smoky about 5 mi away, and nursed it that far...about 5 mi from home. I started in first, then hit second gear and a really BAD metal shreading up steel sound ensued, so I let off and felt and instant loss of power through the trans. I'm guessing torque convertor, oil pump or input shaft stripped out. So we're down again!
Video or it didn't happen!
