He texted me a pic of a ticket to the "crazy horse cabaret" he said- Lots o boobies lol. (no pictures of those though lol) I think he's havin plenty of fun lol. :pimp:

yeah, I know I've been slacking on the Maiden, had a little fun with it at the bonfire, got a few things in the works....Beadlocks, and hydro assist, and still need to make a finish list to work on over the winter. I've put off a lot of things this summer while working on the Maiden, including family time, and have been lacksidaisically working on some of these things, a few cars/trucks/tractors/trailers/etc that I've neglected also.
Oh yeah, been loving driving the 76Crew also!!!!!
Hopefully I'll get all this crap done soon to get to working on the Maiden by the end of the month.

been doing a lot of traveling for sure, but not so much at home....need to get my ambition level up again. Once I get the Maiden back in the shop, I think progress will resume.
I want to get it pretty well set for next year, including some durable paint in the same color as the Ryoken Green Zinc. It seems to have taken on its identity with that color. lots of people like it, including me!
I want to get my motorcycle ready for a seriously long trip next year of about 6000mi. It will need new lifters, a drive belt, new tires, a fork oil change, and a 40K mile checklist of things to be done. Oh, and maybe some new paint, rear fender, and new bags also.
The 76 CC will just get some minor attention to details like getting everything to work, and a little more detailing and maintenance so it will be usable for whatever I want it to be next year.
So a busy winter looks like it is in store for me.

This is cool, thanks to all who have helped, and followed the thread...I will have more forthcoming before long...

beautiful...wow, have you taken a close look???:haha::haha:

Thanks....

Today I got back after it some. Took the D60 cover off and some steering box caps (from a idle unit) to send to Kert for the hydro assist setup. The D60 gears look great (as they should) but nice to check up on stuff and have no surprises. Still need to open up the rear and make sure all is right back there, with the parking lot fix of the wheel bearing, I just need to make sure its all good still.

I am sure you will get it all right Dave, a lot of times I think we give you way more advice than you need, you obviously know what you are doing anyway.

So does that CC fit in your garage to work on it in the heat? I would think it woul be too long?

The advice and ideas are always welcome Heath. as I've mentioned before, I wouldn't have ventured into modifying things to this extent without the ideas, help and experience of CK5... I'm still in awe to some extent that everything worked so well first time out of the gate....(well cept for the trans fiasco..)

And the crewcab is in the attached garage, which has no heat, so it will pretty much sit all winter with a battery tender on it, and mouse traps in it.:waytogo: I had to add antifreeze to get it to -20F and put 50# in all the tires and now it sits awaiting new wheels (well used Welds) and some new dash and guages amongst a bunch of fix it type items next spring.

Hey dave I checked that link you posted on another thread and saw u had a list of the $$$ you had into the maiden so far.. I havnt seen another one in a while, just wondered if you kept track.

Just cause it aint heated dont mean you have to leave it alone. I sat out in the snow doing things under my blazer just for something to do. Its only cold if you think it is right:D.

HOT COCOA AND BUTTERSCOTCH SCNAPPS:thumb: keep ya warm all day.

Yeah, I got a little careless during the thrash...the reciepts got thrown in a pile in my desk, and I haven't taken the time to go through them. I will though, and probably **** myself when I do:eek1:

i wish i woulda kept all my receipts.im guessing with the upgrades and changes ive went through i got at least 5 to 6 gs in mine.probly some warrantee receipts ill never be able to get to use gone.a lot of junkyarding helped.but most yards around here crush everything pre 85 now,so its pretty much gotta go to lmc catalog and order new stuff.your truck and everything on it are like a work of art and functionality as well.heat in the garage helps to get more motivated to work on things.def enjoyed the build thread thus far man.keep up the good work.

One good reason is for insurance/appraisal documentation.
