
Any changes planned to reduce the chances of a cracked transmission case? Or did you find a stronger case?

agreed Heath, up til Bundy hill I had no issues, I'm still convinced my drivetrain mounting is OK, and that the skidplate pushing up on the pass side of the transfer case (and in the opposite direction of engine torque) is what twisted the drivetrain enough to crack the trans case.
I ran it for a couple hours that day as well, but hammering on it in the dragstrip with some big whoops in it is what did it in.
My first skid plate broke my tranny also! I built the new skid to the frame only and have had zero problems since.![]()
