I could do Sunday.. Make sure we check to make sure there is not a wedding g so we can run warn valley

Naw, he couldnt quiet keep up to our lil sbc. Next year an offical race up test Dave?

Oh, and here you go

those are great shots! Thanks for the ego boost!
In real life the top shot is more like my color right now, but that bottom shot really adds some life to it!
and sure I'll run up test, as long as I can pick my line...I don't do whoops to well.

So Sunday the 4th is looking like a go for all so far?

new body tub???
just the shell
84 for $750 w/ title
lets see if this deal can go through

A body swap might be a hell of a job since all cage ties (through the firewall specially) are setup for this bodies little quirks and such..... It's sure make it look better... But will you then be more cautious about tight spots? May lessen the fun if you can't give it some skinny and over power some sheet metal that happens to be in the wrong place. :)

Kill the body already?
No but its full of mud and hackpanel replacement work...I wouldn't ahve to feel bad about racking it through the rocks next year!

Thats pretty good dave. I paid 600 for a rust free 84. Didn't come with a tittle though :(

How did you get street legal? the deal I have is contingent on a clear title...the tub is from texas, but hasn't been registered in MI. Of course today I get a text saying they can't find the title at home but they will contact the prior owner about it...

tis true Rick, I would like to do some things different this time around as well...most of the cage would convert over, but will definitely need some tweaking here and there.

But I love all the massive hunks of bondo on the maiden. Gives it character...

What will we do without the banana pot leaf thing?

I have yet to put it together so it has not ever been on the street. Its been sitting in the back of my shop for over a year.

If you have the place to store it AND the title is good, it might be worth picking up. I would keep running the current body though. Worst case, you can always sell the tub & title in the future. If its in real good shape, I think it would be an easy sell especially in the rust belt

The Maiden in her ragged dress has taken on an identity that I want to preserve
Even with the patched floors and mud filled quarters its a very safe ride
I will persue this body because its a "cherry" for a MI truck
And if/when I decide the switch should be made I can get a lot done without having to take the truck out of service

Even if they can't find a title(I'd be asking for a better price without)I'm sure it could be made to work.:waytogo:
