I don't think it'll be an issue with this truck Dave. I'd just run it and then some day, if you have the axle off for anything else, change the perchs if you want. Your not usually taking 1500 mile trips in the maiden, or towing with it. Most of the spring force is being taken up by the outer sides of the perch anyway.
yeah, I just cant get into the stance craze.
Rubber bands have their place and I have old autocross tires with taller sidewalls then many new cars come with, but there are some places they just don't belong!
Grille and trim fitted back in.
Fun trying to find speed nuts!
Winch mounted and wired.
Had to make a mounting plate for the control box, just welded into the bumper fairlead plate.
New (used) windshield installed.
Took the decent glass out of the 76CCDRW
and put it in the Maiden, then had new (brand new) glass put in the 76.
Dude was doing it on the side and give me the glass for his cost (41$) and charged me an hour labor....total $110...no shit!
I gave him $150, he was here for hour and half....asked him if he could hook me up w one for the Vette...he’ll be in touch.
1 removal, 1new windshield, 1 new locking chrome strip, 2 installs....STOLE EM!
Had to clean my own glass though!
