sometimes you have to sieze the moment!

I found a couple bootleg videos...Sammy hands the mic over about 48:00 while signing t shirts...Panama never sounded so good!...lol

Shit, I think my brother went to that show. Said it was a good one.

They really looked like they were having fun.
It was pretty cool being in the gold ring stage circle.
Michael Anthony threw a guitar pick into our group...something he just don’t do much, and it landed right behind me. It looks like it has Eddie Van Halen engraved into it also...it says “see ya next time” on it.
Eddie give out a cup of 20 or so for everyone in our ring.. His says “bring on the donkey” on it...lol, so much awesome in one night, I could write a book!

Knocked off a few more things last night..
Spare tire secured.
CO2 bottle base ring welded into the bed, and tie downs to secure it.
Seats installed, the 2” riser sure help w visibility but puts me closer to the upper cage tubes...may have to wear a brain bucket

I'm thinking about doing the same. My seats are tight and low, Can't really see much at all. If we are both wearing helmets we might start a new trend!
CO2 tank a 10 or 20 lb?

20lb tank...tare wt. is 25lbs.... maybe another 1lb for the valve assy. = 26lbs.. It weighs in at 43 right now, and Ive aired up from 15-30lbs. once with it, so I figure I got a few to go yet!

A couple big ticket items, and a few small ones left for today, then packing everything into the Maiden and the Duramax for the trip.
Bound for Kerts tomorrow, we’ll be drag racing his Iron Monger Camaro over the weekend, then head for Moab when we get packed up on Tuesday the 8th.

Hahaaa, That is a must for me nowadays...blood thinner and old age make for quick needs!
Also most of the smaller stuff, I think will get strapped to the bars or some tie-down loops I have in the truck already...I’ll get a pic of it loaded later tonight I hope! I still need to weld on a couple fire extinguisher brackets, and some tiedown points for the big tote.
I hit the old skidplate w a flapwheel, some rust neutralizer, primer, and a rattle can of black. I wouldn't worry to much about using it, but the aluminum trans pan I want to protect against the rocks. For sand its just a collector pan! I really want to come up w something different, but its proving challenging for my thought process, hence bolting on the old one again.
Got the trailer driveover ramps put back on the trailer, and its ready to go. Got done outside just in time to dodge the rain.

It's a little late probably but I just noticed that if you go over backwards on something steep, your fire extinguishers will be one of the first things to make hard ground contact. Maybe could leave em there but roll the mounts in a little so that a straight edge can be slid up the back of the cage without hitting them. :dunno:

Or mount one on each side in one of these locations....? Can't lay on both sides at the same time lol.

Just something that popped out at me.

Mounts are welded on
Didn’t want to intrude on those side openings for rear seat access.
If It goes over backwards and they get knocked off, it’ll be easier for someone to get to them then.

I was thinking they could get dented/punctured, bent so that they don't come off, or mess the handle/nozzle up.
Should be fine, because it's m sure you're going to try real hard NOT to go over backwards lol. But just an observation :waytogo:

Dave I like the way you have the nozzles pointed toward the cab, that sounds like an inexpensive automated fire extinguisher. Roll it over, it breaks them open and puts the fire out, genius! :cool1:
