My uncle worked in the orange groves in Florida for years and he said they wouldn't use anything but street tires in the sand down there. Anything else would just sink the trucks.

Mine are on their way to being bald so I'm guessing it's the tires. My buddies with Iroks didn't have near as much trouble and they weren't aired down.

You want nice soft sidewalls that bulge way out when aired down, and wider the better.

I had 20 psi in mine and the only time I got stuck was in some quick sand like chris found. I wasn't even moving and it sunk a foot. Otherwise if I felt it starting to sink I just held it wot. Nice having some power again.

I bought ONE new TSL, one old, but never used TSL, one 75% TSL, and one 75% TSL with a lug ripped off that I had to have repaired.

Got the cover off, spider gears are smoked. Ring has some chips and don't know about the pinion. Pics later.

This may sound stupid but I found a stupid good deal on a CUCV (that means it has a Detroit) 14 bolt with 4.56 gears and caliper brackets and I can't pass it up. So the front will have to wait a little longer. I'll just have to leave it sit till I get everything. When this thing comes out of the garage it will be locked front and rear.
