It's powered though a relay. Send constant fused 12v to the relay then power to pump out of the relay, triggered by the fuel pump signal from the ECM. Along with that there ignition power to the coil, injectors and sensors. I'm sure people have more professional ways to do it but this is the simple way and I've had my truck running good on it for a while now

Good info, thanks!!

Yeah took it on it's maiden voyage last night, just around the block cause it was about 10:30 with open headers. Starts up and revs good, but has a slight miss when giving it a tiny bit of throttle. Also falls on its face when I floor it. Lots of little bugs to work out still but I am happy that it runs and drives.

Where's your O2 sensor? Open headers can give false readings on O2 sensors if they are close enough to the end of the collector.

Like 2" from the collector :haha:. Trying to get my buddy to let me use his welder to get my exhaust back together.

Sure there isn't a clog in the tbi vac port, or a kink somewhere? Seems strange and the only thing I would think that swapping to tbi would do to affect brakes...

He says they go to the floor. So it sounds like the booster has plenty of vacuum.

I don't think so but I will still look it all over.

Sweet.

How do you like the hydro clutch?

Did you swap out pedal assemblies?

Makes a weird noise sometimes and the spot where the pedal does something pretty much at the very end and half of the pedal travel doesn't do anything. But it does work really nice other than that!

I did swap them out and what a PITA. Never want to do that again.

Sounds like it needs bled out again. I bled mine once and had what you describe. Bled it a second time by taking the slave loose and pumping it and it's been great since.

Any chance you got the brake booster hooked to the wrong hole in the brake pedal?

I'll bleed it again and see how it is.

I don't think that's even possible. There was only one place to connect the booster pushrod to the pedal.
