I have 4.56 3/4 ton axles lined up, just waiting for them to get pulled from a '79 K15. Might be buying some 37" hummer take off's from him as well. Then I just need to order some brake lines and I think that's it? What do I have to do about the driveshafts?

what made you go with the diy4x flip when you got everything else at ord? just curious.

Flip kit came in the mail today.

I was looking at the front spring hangers on the rear leafs and noticed this... not sure what to do about it.

Any ideas of where to get them? Does anyone make an aftermarket one? I've been looking around a little, but no luck. I suppose just drill the rivets out like the shackle flip and replace with grade 8 bolts?

check with LMC i think they were 38 a side

nevermind, those are the 2wd ones. the 4wd ones are $112 ea

that or post up in the wanted section. There are always trucks being parted out around here. And yes to the Grade 8 bolts. Get the good nuts(don't remember what they're called ATM, but Kert sends them with his stuff), not regular locking washers and you'll be good to go.

can DIY4X make em for ya? :dunno:

Kert makes them, but he said he wasn't sure of them being 100% bolt on. there are some variances to them. He told me 170 plus the ride.

Damn, I kinda need it to be bolt on cause I don't have access to a welder. Im going to try the local dealership even though its a long shot cause I can get a decent discount.

if you get the ones from kert, just drill some new holes for the install.

Just got off the phone with the local GM dealership. Looks like they can still get them. I should have them by Tuesday at $84.11 each. :D

Going to attempt replacing the body mount bushings today...
