80's short box, "S.E.R.E." Box permanently attached to the cab.

If you were to run the intake into the cab, I would think you could forget about adding the AC???

Your probably right. The vintage air unit is supposed to be more compact than the factor box but still, I can't see it being that much smaller.

^^^^ Very good point. Unless, of course, you had enough btu & cfm to compensate.... 359ci & operating in a lower range than a gas burner. Shouldn't be too difficult to do that.

The Vintage Air unit is more compact than the factory unit, but it does take up more space under the dash than the stock heater does since it's all one piece. You gain tons of room under the hood and also lose the bulky factory ducting. The kit comes with a shallower glove box because of how much space it takes up behind the dash.

Hopefully it fits behind my aluminum dash.

AEV raised air intake

Where did ya find that Dave? Googled it but didn't come up with much outside of cold air intakes. I'd love to take it through the fender clear back there but not sure if hood hinges would allow enough room.

We started in on the engine cage figurin' the air intake is more appropriately the one to snake around the cage tubing.

I think it comes out for newer Dodges in the near future....I like the design!
