I really want to get out there tomorrow and get the flexplate changed out but I also really hate the cold!

Good point! I’ve got a dr’s appt Thursday and really need to drive this thing to it. So it looks like I’ll be freezing my ass off tomorrow.

I got caught up on small things today. I was wanting to get that flexplate changed out but there is no way I can do it by myself right now with one hand. I got a new starter put on, new heater core and pulled both drive shafts pulled and cleaned up. Got the trans mounts changed out as well. Those old rubber ones were smoked! After all that I had an appointment and was told I only have two more weeks till I get the pins out!

Finally had a local yard come through on square parts! Found an 83 grill and buckets off of a 3/4 or 1 ton burb. I’ve been looking for these for over a year and the two that I’ve seen on eBay where stupidly priced.
This thing has a lot of parts on it that need to come home with me! Like that rear end... still has the big block inside too!
Lightly cleaned up
Pulling the old vinyl off and removing glue
Cleaned up and new spare vinyl installed

Now I need to get the new LMC grill and buckets.

Haven’t updated this in a while. I know I posted this somewhere else on here but forgot to put it on the build thread.
Anyway.. new front shocks. Monroe load leveling shocks. These are temporary until I get the lift installed and the Bilstein 5125’s. It was amazing how shot the other ones were. The picture shows the old ones compressed and that was done by hand..

I added another step to the suspension renovation today. I got my new Swaybar bushings in and pulled and cleaned up all the parts. It was a small project but getting it all done in one day made me feel like I actually got something accomplished on this thing. It looks like I pulled it from a new truck now.

Well... happy birthday to me. I just started the lift process. I just ordered the Tuff Country EZ Ride 4” front springs.
Now I just need the rest of these for the front.. and the Bilsiens.
If everything goes as planned tomorrow, I should be getting another complete 010 block! I was an idiot and sold the last one.

Went and picked this beauty up today and took it home and started breaking it down. It’s an 010 block to replace the other one I just sold because I’m stupid.
