Says the man with a lift and no cab on the frame... :D

more so about the time and money...

I had about $500 wrapped up in headers, mufflers and the shop bill for the old setup

probably have another $450-500sh wrapped up in this new system doing it all myself.

So yeah, $1k in exhaust over the last 18 months sucks.

When I first received my mandrel bends I took a 90 degree bend and slid on a collector so it exited out the wheel well by the front tire. Sat there with a beer in my hand thinking about how loud it would be and came to my senses.

There's your problem you thought about it instead of just doing it. LOL. I've always wanted a truck with headers straight up through the hood just cuz it's bad ass but it would have to be a dedicated race vehicle to be of any use.

Put a turbo on that diesel and go for it...

oh yeah, I always dreamed of having a junkyard with a variety of mad max kinda vehicles with zoomies.

Let me say that the exhaust system on my '72 C10 was the most expensive one that I had ever done, only $600 in parts, but I did the labor myself , and I still like that I know who to blame for any flaws !
I need to change out the 40's for something a little quieter . ...
The last one that I paid to have done wasn't great . ...

I thought my shackle angle was a little steep when I was loaded. I'm reconsidering now that I see it at full droop.

Opinions?

With some weight on them, no bed or fuel obviously.

It's the same location I ran it before. I just know it's designed for 56's and I'm running 57's. I'm boxing that section so nows the time to get it moved.

Here it is picture with them loaded

I'm with Brokenparts, stand a couple people on the back and see how it looks with some real weight on them.

56's?

I moved them back an inch, cutting and welding in 2x4 crossmembers now.
