The diy4x frame boxing kit has been taunting me but I think my plasma cutter and some inexpensive plate is going to win the battle.

I debated that myself but with a plasma cutter it's hasn't been too bad. Lots of grinding and fitting either way.......no frame is the same.

Back when I was assembling the t-cases I mentioned the NWF optional mounting foot wasn't designed so you could use it with the 205 clocked flat. I was debating not using it however I've decided that I should so I found an old pic of the foot to review. I then made some paint illustrations showing the modifications it will need so that the mount is horizontal and it also clears the JB Fab shift linkage. Should work out OK.....

Thanks Kert.

kept working on boxing the frame, came up with a plan for a gas tank skid that should be pretty sweet. Also plumped the 3" exhaust tube from the merge to the muffler.

And since the plasma was out I blasted off the rivets that held the front crossmember in. Plan there is to add a 2x4 crossmember.

Out of curiosity for my own project consideration, how far is the tank below the frame? Is it a 31gal tank?
