I tried pulling the bolts but they are stripped out in the bed. With the bed floor covered by 1/2" of uncured roofing tar or sealer I'm not messing with it until I'm swapping on a different bed.

I have welded the heads of the bed bolt to the floor on a couple trucks. Then I don't have to find many replacements.

yeah that's no fun.

Received some goodies from summit today. TH400 dipstick, Derale PS cooler, locked out MSD distributor, MSD coil & bracket, fittings and the wrong daystar bumps. Hoping to finish the frame boxing this next week.

Yay for boxes of parts!

It was a good box of stuff, bunch of parts that I've known I needed for a while and just sat on my wish list at summit.

Also ordered the correct Daystar bumps last night with the single stud mount configuration. Those should pair up nicely with Kert's adjustable bump stop brackets after I fab some platforms off the spring plates.

Looking good. Is the flat head hardware behind that foot not needed or just not installed?

I might have to get out to the garage later today and do some blazer stuff to start 2017 off right.

It was just mocked up in that pic because I needed to shoot some paint on it still. I'm hoping I don't need to mess with these parts again.

And yeah you need to work on the K5.

Tapped the cover with a 3/8" NPT fitting for a fluid sight. Need to order more fittings, it's amazes me how shitty the selection is at home depot and lowes these days.

Funny you post this, I was thinking about the exact same mounts myself!

I'll make sure I share the part number once I find them. I've seen them used several times so I know they're around.

Those look a lot like these:

I noticed daystar will allow you to enter dimensions on their site and they'll find you a poly mount. Summit had a ton of universal ones too.

I played around with that, ordered the ones I found and then summit cancelled my order claiming daystar didn't have them any longer. The ones you posted are too big. I'll keep looking.
