Dang. That is really early. I am really going to make an effort to get there this year but not sure I can commit this early.
There are plenty of places to stay and people generally end up in several different locations. Used to be Slickrock Campground was the biggest concentration, now it's Moab Rim Campark.

That K5 was ready to retire after serving in desert storm, then duty with the county sheriff, and finally 12 years of getting pounded into rocks. Most of its guts live on in the crew cab. Course most of those guts came from other parts out trucks.
We lovingly referred to it as "The General"
had to weld a plate on the bottom of the NWF foot so I could get the hardware to clear the case. Been a bit of a PITA dealing with that NWF piece....

Looks good man.... looks like you did great dealing with that foot. Are you going to add bushings on the bottom side too?
