Lol that's what I told the wife. I'll keep that one in the glove box.

Looks like you shortened it in the front

It's not any shorter, I just cut the rockers out so its moved up three inches and away from the opening. Probably have room for 44's now.

Did u weld the cab and bed to the rocker or just the cab?

Just the cab so far. I think I'm going to add a tab or two for the bedsides at the slider and then tie in the bed floor and frame to the slider. Debating wether or not to add bushings so the slider is isolated from the bed and frame.

Do you still have body mounts under the cab? Even with the frame boxing I'd be worried about the movement difference. But it's not something I have experience with.

My biggest mistake with sliders was welding the fenders to them, that doesn't work, just tears the fenders.

All the body mounts are still in place. Eventually the cab and frame will be tied together with a cage including the sliders. Another option is to leave the braces back to the frame off until the cage is done. I would just need to brace the rear part of the slider to the bed floor since that is not supported very well.

I've thought about trying to figure out a way to triangulate bed sliders to the floor with the saddle tanks. It'd be tricky.

You're finding a lot more good stuff than I did. Bet the person that lost the tools was cursing a lot.

Yeah I have a pretty straight shot straight up to the bed.

Burned in the drivers side
