I provided my tear down inspection report to a PSC tech this morning over the phone. He wasn't willing to confirm the pump was bad however he said if the control valve piston was stuck in the compressed position the pump would be in bypass mode therefore I wouldn't see any pressure to the steering gear. However I don't think it was compressed because I had to compress it to break it loose from the pump. So now I need to decide if I want to send it to PSC for inspection/repair at $90 per hour or buy another for $237.50.
