I’m hoping to make this truck as capable as possible with out dumping a ton of money into it.

Got it home, and I took it on a nice long drive. It drives/ rides surprisingly well. So far all I have done to it is replace the dry rotted tires that came on it with a set of 34-9.50-16 tsls I had laying around. I plan on swapping the front leafs out with some better factory ones I have laying around with a 1 inch zero rate.

I love the optimism. Keep that up! They are hard to not turn into money pits, but it really depends on overall goals.

What’s the plans? Farm truck duty? Occasional wheeler?

They would be the perfect size for that. I have always wished they made radials in the narrow sizes.

Has anyone ran a Detroit locker in the 9.5 14 bolt? I’m trying to decide if I should go that route, or would I be better off finding a full floater?

I swapped to military 37s I originally had on my suburban

I Blew a belt on one of the military Goodyears, so I broke down and went with some brand new 315/75/16. I really like the way it looks with this size tire.

Took this on a 350 mile round trip to pick up some rears for my semi. The truck didn’t skip a beat, and I averaged 12mpg.
