I definitely didn’t want the cage in front of the dash. For 1 it is too intrusive, and 2 how do you get the dash pad and bezel in and out?
I was ok with notching out the dash because it was old and cracked. Just covered it with a dash cover anyway.

Finally painted my tierod, it’s only been a year lol

Funny story, my tierod hasn't ever been painted. I went with aluminum steering after I made it to only measure short and never put it on. I thought for sure I would get around to it but the BB15 crunch was real and .250 wall is strong enough.

Someone from the tech talk page said kerts kit took out his lower vent on the drivers side, you didn't have that problem? Luck me my dash is so messed up I don't mind cutting it up at all I do strongly worry about creature comforts because I have a toddler that will be joining me on the trails soon

Hmm, I haven’t ran that vent or crossover tube on any of my trucks. I still have the parts though. I’ll try and see.
