No such thing. Any ck5 banter is good for the goose. Going to make a steel run this friday for my neighbors and me. Gotta get going on a rear bumper/ tire carrier setup. Really really hate having my spare inside taking up space.
 
Got the trans threads fixed and all put back together.
Just so anyone curious wants to know, the bigserts I was going to use are too big. Just not enough meat on the trans for them. I ended up just using heli-coil to repair them. I'm just gonna say the 208 holds way too much damn oil.
 
Just ordered some stuff from ORD tonight. Carted a 1”spacer and studs for my steering arm
‘cause the draglink hits the spring when flexed. Grabbed some of those offset plates to scoot the front axle forward some more. Also going to swap my rear 4” shackle brackets for some 2.5” ones.

Made quite a difference in shock angle.
Luckily they move rearward under compression.
I went the full 1-1/2” see how she likes it.
On to the other side.
