'84 K5 Build (Midlife Crisis)

Thanks! I am smiling ear to ear right now. I was having an issue with the stock sliders sounding like a zipper on the threads of the shock body. I did a little googling and ran into the agm sliders. I am much happier now and I think the shock is too. They are smoother and quieter.
I don't think I'm hearing that but the truck is also kind of noisy. I think I will just leave it alone for now lol.

Well, I did just drive it to KOH and back. And everywhere else, except BB. It’s just too far. If I break it or anything bad happens, that’s gonna be an expensive ride home. Lol.

Which is why I won't do it.

Cause you know 35's on a 10 bolt won't last...

Which is why I could never own a classic car thst was perfect
What do you think your truck is? Sure as hell qualifies for the term classic since it's more than 25 years old.

But then again our family vacations as a kid were loading up the Nomad and heading out for a week or two. Denver to Indy was the longest one we did. The car wasn't a classic by the 25 year definition then (it was '78 for that trip) but it sure wasn't new. Dad carried a small tool box, spare points, condenser and brushes for the generator. Which he had to change out the generator brushes somewhere along the way.

Roadtripping as you've done you know the truck is capable. Its not much further to get to Moab..
