it was $100 for the mobile service for that 60 we picked up in Utah. Thing was a mess and now it’s smooth. It was worth it for me.

It's worth it if you can get it done for 100 bucks or so. For me it would be worth it's weight in gold when I was welding that truss to the cast section.
Imo.
I ended up cleaning it with gas and a brush this morning. This truss doesn’t weld to the cast section, just the tubes. Then the center part bolts to the pinion housing.

Approximately 3.5” till bump, then 2.5” = 6” total

Frame flex causing that?
No I don’t think so. It’s just that the tire travels further upward when articulated than when bottomed out straight across because the pivot point is at the bumpstop.
Looks like you're right there on measurement.. Any more up travel would start making a mess.
Thanks, yeah I tried to get as much usable bump travel as I could without modifying the crap out of her. ( removing inner fenders, cutting core support, totally hacking fenders etc...) Those 40’s take up alot of real estate haha!

ARB and truss work. Got the hole drilled and tapped.
Good progress but the kids are gonna be disappointed. Took all the fun away.
