Man you're a pioneer in weird failures.Found the problem…
Apparently the snout of the t.o. bearing was too long and melted to the clutch disc hub. Aluminum melted right into the splines. Amazing that that small amount of aluminum would drive a 7k truck right over parking chocks!

Not sure 100%. It sure looked like it was releasing but it definitely wasn’t.Did that seize it up so the clutch couldn't be released?

No, I never contacted them. It was 100% my fault. It says in their instructions to make sure the the shaft isn’t too long.@Fastereddie I may have missed it but was there any feedback from ORD concerning the 465/Magnum interference problem?

Well now that I’m thinking about it, the disc is engaged the shaft all the time.![]()
The release bearing/t.o. was a luk replacement from summit. The one I just got from Napa is the same.It is. But having the disc stuck against the flywheel would still allow the power to transfer. Instead of the pressure plate clamping the disc to the flywheel the throw out bearing was.
I’m guessing the melted aluminum on the splines also added to the problem by keeping the bearing from retracting away from the pressure plate.
What part number release bearing did you use on it? I wonder if it was boxed wrong.
