84 turbo diesel suburban

As for the heater fan, if the fan is good check the resistors in the fiberglass box under the hood.

I've had to change them before. The front and rear have separate units.

The slow speeds work but really weak, the full speed doesn't.
Tested the wires coming in and the big purple wire gets nothing on high, about 10 volts on medium.
Test the fan directly, it works just fine.
I think it's the switch.
I should have one or 2 around

High blower relay. Donhave my lap top. But i have postedvthe circuit on here a time or 2. I'll see if i can find

I will check it more today.
I did fiddle with it yesterday because it felt not plugged in all the way but there was no change

If the relay fails you will lose High or only have High. It depends on whether the NO or NC contact is worn out. If the switch is OK, you should be able to put it on high and then the relay will click as you plug and unplug it.

Still no heater fan but also no heat, so I am going to check if my vacuum pump is producing vacuum, that could be my problem, or maybe a vacuum leak in one of the hoses.
My Jimmy had the same problem and I saw a cracked vacuum line and fixed it and suddenly the fan worked.

Yeah no dice.
Tried 3 relays I have, one from my functioning 89 suburban.

On another note, I have been driving it for a while now, and a few things happened:
I was driving and stopped at a light, and it got out of gear. took me while to realize the tcase was the problem I put it in 4wd hi, no change.
Put it in low and it went, switched back to hi and it still worked.
It happened a few times when I break a little hard, so looking at previous threads, I checked the fluid level and it was extremely low.
Topped it off and it got better but still occasionally happened.
I am guessing that the lack of lubrication caused the wear pads on the forks to wear down and now there's play.
I have options so I will make decision after solving the other issue.
The other issue is transmission.
It was a good used transmission that sat for a few years outside, covered.
It runs good the first 5-10 minutes, then it starts to go from 2nd to 3rd with a little quick slip, I call it slips into 3rd.
I also sometimes have to wait a couple of seconds before it goes when I put it in reverse.
I was thinking probably a filter and fluid change, but it if that doesn't work then I have a 4l80e with the standalone controller from a 92 that I parted, and at that point I will put one of my 32 spline tcases, 208 or 241.
One thing I want to comment about, adding the turbo made difference in driveability but it's still not where it should be, maybe because I didn't adjust the fueling.
I haven't done any of this before, I seems to vaguely remember something about timing on the IP, but also some other adjustments inside the IP.
I could use some help on this.
I want to do this in small increments and just do enough to get a little more out of it, I don't want to end up with a bunch of black smoke.

@Barrman has some good YouTube videos on 6.2/6.5 diesel stuff. Here's how to turn up the fuel on the IP.
I have been doing some research myself on how to turbo my 6.2.

Classic worn shift pad/fork symptoms.

So the last couple of days when I put it in in reverse it's been taking a couple of seconds to engage, I was planning on changing the fluid and filter to see if it gets better but yesterday I was trying to back out and no movement, it's kind of holding but no movement.
I even put it in 4wd low to see if it helps, no dice.
Not sure if there's a simple fix so I will wait a couple of days for feedback and I am back to my gas guzzling 7.4 suburban.
