Pulled front hubs and axles. Going to remove trac-lok and put a grizzly locker,some upgraded axles. Time to change out the crossmember,do motor mounts,Harmonic balancer,power steering pump.

Finally got around to doing a little. Pulled axle out of truck,changed carrier,got lower king pin and bearings. The right tools sure do help.

i hope to swap my open diff dana 60 for a eaton E-LOCKER i have new in the box .

K30 talked me in to buying one a few months ago and done 6 bearings and 1 more to go as of now.

Gonna do engine cross member and motor mounts tomorrow. Might even get to shock mounts.

Got a little more done. Put ORD motor mounts and crossmember in. Put energy suspension trans mounts in too.

Got axle together, power steering pump replacement is coming along. Need to come up with a mount for the reservoir, going on left inner fender.

Took her out for a little shake down cruise Went well. Power steering was the only problem,locker gave it a mighty work out. Guess next step is a cooler and hydro assist.

Been side tracked for awhile. Gonna get back to it soon. Headed to hydro assist steering.

Need to think of pictures when I am doing things. Old I suppose. Got hydro installed, some cooling for the steering. Getting it bled. Have gone from 1.5 quarts to 5 quarts so far. Removed mech. fuel pump. Got sidetracked buying a house with a little room.

Man the pic of that truck when you first got it is right on. What a clean truck. Looks like it’s in good hands now though, build looks great!

My .02 on the matter...it’s so nice to see these trucks saved, built and enjoyed. Seems like every other guy who gets a m1008 is just some ebay douchebag who sees dollar signs in the axles. ‘I’m gonna part it cuz I can’t afford to feed myself any other way.....’
