This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
Anyone know of a good prefab'd y-pipe for big blocks?
I'm needing something to get sensors mounted and to get just a bit of back pressure so I can start tuning more.
Eventually it's going to my buddy's exhaust shop for a full system, I just don't know what route to go yet.

There is a possibility if you used squarebody big block manifolds to at a stock y-pipe would work. I’m not sure if anybody sells one.

Yes stock square body manifolds. Yeah I will be looking for a factory y-pipe.
Added a few badges today. This is the first time I’ve had the red “GMC” in the grille since I’ve owned the truck. I still have one more badge to add once it’s here.
I want a 496 badge that mimics the old 396 badges on the Chevelle
I thought about putting that badge on my Suburban, but the factory 8.1L SUVs had no special badging. Most of them you find have "Allison" on them, too.

That is a cool idea to put vortec instead of turbo-jet.
I never really understood the turbo jet moniker, had neither a turbo or a jet engine. Vortex is plausible, I mean the air might swirl in the cylinders
