86 K30 - Sarge - strong box doubler and triple stick shifter

Tires look good. I know how huge these things really are.

Truck looks awesome. Gotta keep tabs on the other shortened K-30 in Maryland :waytogo:

Love the front bumper ORD? I need to get rid of my huge front bumper eventually.

Yes, ORD front bumper. I got it from a member here for my K5, but since it is currently serving duty as a garage floor hold down system and Cummins engine stand :doah: I figured it would serve me better on a running truck :D
Looking forward to getting all the MD "K" trucks out on the trail sometime :waytogo:

Those look like they are only 40 inches tall. Pretty weak :)

Btw, we camped out in the trailer last night. My back and shoulder are so sore.....

 you need to update your sig .......

and yes, I was surprised that the tires only measured at 40.5", of course air will most likely make that change. :D

Think a W truck can join?

Rick

Its still a "square body" so its close enough, plus its full of Cummins goodness :D :waytogo:

.........now thos Jeep guys, that ZJ guy and the FSJ guy.........we will have to think about letting them hang out with us .......:haha:

I lived in MD for a year, does that count  :D

No Brian, no it does not :flipoff7: .............:D

My 42 PBRs measure out at like 41.5 aired up and on the truck but mine are on 16x10s.

Most people I've heard off claim 42" on a rig and 43" off but aired up :dunno:, as big as these things look off the truck I'm fine with 40.5" :haha: I will know for sure tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I will HAVE to find time to do at least one.............:woot:

Was thinking of taking the K5 though since this is as close as to Blazer Bash as most of us east coasters will get. Still hope to get to the real thing some day all the same.

Jacob and Caroline showing off the new tire :D
for reference thats a 205/50 16 in front (my pimp rollers )

Only got time to mount the one so far, I was expecting some sort of a fight with the insert...................anyone who says how hard they are to do needs to try MX rear tires.......the insert was cake :D

Jacob is growing as fast as your tires. Is that lego truck manual what you use to fix sarge?

:waytogo:

Jacob has that big pimpin face going on lol.

I think you should have went 44...

Rick

You should have seen the look on his face when I first showed it to him :thumb: it was like Christmas morning, of course within a minute he asked where the others were :haha:
44's...............heck no, I think I heard my stock stub shafts and hubs cry a little when they saw the 42's :D

He is growing waaayyyy to fast :eek1: :doah: :D

Yep, use the Lego manual all the time, still can't find the page on doublers :doah: :haha:

So how about a picture if this rig with the 42"s on it?????

Need to do the rear brakes and new spring plates for the front will be here Friday, then I can re do the front bump stops,........ and then .......install new tires :D

How about a pic of yours with your new tires and wheels................moving under it's own power  :D

I am actually doing some driveway wrenching right now :doah:

It is currently sporting the super hotrod stance :haha: w/ 42's on the back and rollers on the front :D

Im not going to be able to sleep if I dont put the fronts on now :haha:

Cant move it till I bleed the rear brakes though, that wont happen till tomorrow.
