Soo, I've been wanting to go EFI all along and after the last wheeling trip my mind was made up. I had planned on trying to do it "on the cheap" but you know the old saying about time or money, never having both at the same time :doah: well lately it's been time that has been in short supply. After some research and praise from those who have used them, I'm going with a TBI system from Affordable Fuel Injection :woot: I will try to do a full write up on the swap so anyone else "on the fence" can have a good idea what their in for. Hopefully I will see some parts in the next week or two.



Also, I weighed the rig today. Just me in it, 3/4 tank of fuel and an empty bed, any guesses ??????
 
So are you going to post the weight or are you going to continue this gay ass guessing game?
 
You people and your dern AFI systems always make me think about doing TBI on my 78! I dont want TBI! Stop making me think about it!

You don't want TBI, you want sequential EFI, ya know as in LS based :deal:
 
Speaking of your rig, Rausch Creek Sept 7&8 :whistle: might be cool to see a cummins other then in the parking lot :D
 
Maybe is the best I can say. I've opened my own business and still am working my old job during the day. So I won't know til the date gets closer how things will be.

Totally understand, with the way my schedule has been for the last 1 1/2 months the only reason I can 100% commit to this one is because it's Jacobs birthday weekend and all he wants is to go camping and wheeling :woot: :pimp:
 
is the 6k fully loaded with your spare? Dan's (myhichevy4x4) k30 diesel truggy is weighing in at 6k but the tool box is empty an the spare has yet to be mounted.
