Anyone heard anything bad about Spartan lockers?

several of us run them without any problem. @Kay86K5

I have had a Spartan locker in my blazer's d60 for the last 4 years (4.56 gears). Never had one single problem with it ever (even when running the 44" boggers). Took me about 30 min to install by myself without removing the carrier. Only problem I had was getting the roll pin to remove so I could take out the cross-pin. But once I got a punch that was the correct size, it came right out...and like I said, after that, I had the locker installed and filled the diff with fluid 30 min later. I highly, highly recommend the Spartan locker to everyone I meet

Told you...stupid little roll pin is annoying to get out...as soon as you get that out...takes like 10 min, haha

I managed to screw up my carrier trying to get that pin out.... :doah:

Forgot to update for those who follow this. Took the truck to Tuttle and it did very well with adding a front locker. Was able to go everywhere my friend with the built Toyota went and I was very surprised/impressed with it. I did however beat it up a good amount and now I need to beef it up before I go back. Also haven’t touched the truck since the Tuttle trip back in February till a few days ago when I pulled the driveshaft to get it fixed. Been very busy with life and work so it’s been on the back burner unfortunately, but I still have it at least. Lol

Also really want some big tires...
