And man, just a little more fender trimming and a couple coats of spray paint and this thing would look pretty darn good! What's stopping you from rattle canning this thing? If I lived closer to you I'd offer to help rattle can it in a nice royal blue (cause you know, all the cool kids do that now)

Idk I really like the “patina” rustic look I guess. If I was gonna do a solid color I think I’d do desert tan. Eventually something will have to happen. Maybe a body swap??

I like the truck as it is.

But that driveshaft is awfully short.

I added an inch and a half to it lol. I’ve never had it pop out and for how much this thing flexes, I didn’t want it to be too long and bottom out and explode the tcase.

I feel like there's more forgiveness in the rear shaft because the yoke is centered. It doesn't slip near as much as the front being off to the one side.

I probably should’ve added a little bit more. Oh well, it’s never given me a problem yet.

Every time I do that I end up feeling I added too much. If it works, then no worries.

I was just going off his OCD comment...and the fact that the pictures of it wheeling....and then the picture after he washed it....looked identical to me :rotfl:. So figured I'd put in my plug for spray paint, cause that's what I do best
I was spray painting my "new" hood last week and I was thinking "How the hell did Steve do this on an entire crew cab?!" By the time I was done I couldn't hardly press the nozzle, and I even switch between hands and thumb and forefinger.

Bahaha, when you've spray painted as many vehicles as I have, your finger tips grow an immunity to spray can nozzles :haha:

In all honestly, I think I'm just stupid enough to spray paint an entire CCLB (primer and paint)...that's how I did it ;)
