89 blazer, looking for a front seat that can fold/tumble so for rear seat access

I thought we were talking about seats? The 80s passenger seat flipped forward as one piece, so the headrest area was against the dash. The late 80s/early 90s Blazer seat folds and slides. It has dual seat tracks. One to adjust the seated position and the other to do the big slide. Pulling the seat back forward releases the slide and springs push the whole seat forward. I looked at putting a 2nd set of PS tracks on the DS, but with the steering wheel there, there's little to gain.
I got the blazer (like many people) with modifictions. I currently have seats from a ford edge in it. I have no idea what blazers shipped from the factory with.

I was asking what I could put into the blazer to fix the current problem. I am sure the factory may have done a fantastic job of getting adults into the back seat but the vehicle in my driveway is not what GM shipped out the door. If you are telling me that the stock factory seats did it well, I will try to find stock factory seats and hope for the best. If you say, "jeep YJ" brackets also work well but are cheaper and easier to find" then I might go that route.

I just don't know the options for the current situation that I have in my driveway.

Maybe it would be better to simply remove the front seat entirely and let the wife and daughter crawl through the giant opening created by the lack of a front passenger seat and they can sit together in the back!

Do you know anybody with one of those mystery seats that slides all the way forward? I would pay real money to see a video of this, so I have something to shoot for.

I think that Honda odyssey seats have that feature but don't quite me. Check out mavericks garage on YouTube he makes universal seat mounts for the front seats.

Yep. Remove the passenger seat and install a beer fridge.

Send some money and I'll go make a video of my 1990 K5 seats?

I've had a refrigerator in place of a center console on many an adventure.

The mounting points are not the same. The flip-up high back has all the bolts in the front and a well for the latch hook in the back. The later fold and slide uses a normal square pattern for driver and passenger.

But if somebody already swapped some other seats in, who knows what you have. It's actually worth checking out whenever you find that. It's easy to drill holes, but if the mount isn't properly reinforced it's not safe.

I am considering losing the entire front winch and bumper, going back to stock bumper. Saving up for aluminum heads, stock seats, and maybe someday a soft top. It will all add up to being equal to ten hp more. I can't do much here in CA with smog laws and can't afford a smog legal LS swap.
I have an 88 v20 that i did some tbi mods on last week and it made a pretty good difference. I live in nor cal so am limited too. I did the salad bowl, kandn filter, throttle body spacer and injector spacer. For a couple hundred bucks im impressed with the extra power

I used a set of early 2000s silverado seats in my k5, the back flipped forward and it slid forward enough for my kids and adults to go from the front to the back. Plus the center jump seat worked well for little ones up front.

Corbeau seats have brackets and variety of styles available. All slide and fold forward.

I got a seat heater for the driver side. It's like a luxury car now. Toasty

I have the brackets from James, currently installed in the '86K5 with 2019 Silverado seats sitting on top (welding/cutting done to tweak and connect).

@bu2chlc DM me your address and contact info. I'm making a run to LA in March, will toss the original seats (which both slide forward and flip up to allow access to the backseat) in the truck and bring them to you. No charge, good to keep the Blazer fam and your fam happy.
