89-ish K5 build. Beat cancer!!! Time for icecream!

3 Link front, leafs in the rear, 2.5" ADS Racing Shocks!
May need a 3 joint steering shaft. I'll throw the coils on tomorrow and check . I got the other hoop knocked out and cycled a few ways. Need to make the plates and burn it in but I may adjust it slightly. Still need to check the clearance on the panhard bar mount to the coilivers but judging by the other side I should be fine.

Looks killer! You like that artec truss or now after setting up the suspension would you maybe have gone a different route?

For keeping things low I hate it. Its a nice piece other than that. I had it finished welded before I started link mounting. If I would have leaned it back I might not of had to clearance the front of it, but the truss would be leaning back. It will be nice for bump mounting, and it was nice to weld everything to it. This was a used dodge unit, so I can't speak for the chevy style, but I got a great price on it so it is what it is. I would do a mini truss over the diff next time for simplicity. Also I would cut the cast leaf spring perch off the passenger side for better mounting/room.

Should have gotten up earlier... couldn't finish the rear.. wife got home at 4:30 so my shop time got cut short. Now that I have the bracket figured out should just have to cut two more for the other side. Used @Deuling 2x4 trick for cycling. I didn't like the shackle angle, so moved it back to the shock location.

Looks good. Does the shock end up more centered in the hole when at ride height?
It ends up being at about 5 degrees, and a little off the center of the opening. Ideally I would have liked to mount it further forward for a more vertical shock, but the seat prevents that. Its my fault for opening the hole a little to big. Easily can be fixed with the metal squirt gun.
