I'm kicking myself for not removing the converter bolts before pulling the motor. Lol

I learned long ago to drain all fluids and remove everything possible from the bottom when pulling something. Starters, converter bolts, dust shields. You've got no excuses having a hoist and easy access. Lol

Never failed. Put motor on stand, roll it over thinking I had drained it, only to have a gallon of oil leak everywhere. Or putting it in the back of a truck and it tips over.

Now, everything gets drained if it isn't going back in the same day. Odds are it needed it anyway.

Yah I know.. I’m gonna blame that on the chemo. I normally would have. Just didn’t think of it.

Great progress Jesse!
Keep up your vision brother

At this rate you'll be driving it by november....:waytogo:

I gotta leave something for me to do in the winter....lol Really whenever Adam decides to come pull the tbi motor, and 700 is when I'll get started on the swap. I still have to order all the fuel and plumbing. I am going convert everything to -AN. Trans, power steering, fuel etc. Hot rod fuel hose seems to have everything for fuel, does anyone have a recommendation for kits for trans and power steering?

I like to use Fragola for all my fittings and hose, made in USA and not too expensive either. I like them so much I became a dealer of them, they have any size or angle fitting you can think of and also have the adaptors to convert the stock o-ring fuel sender fittings to AN.

Send me quotes Sir!

I'll send you a PM, I can give you an idea but you'll need to figure out the details yourself depending on where you have the regulator, filter, etc.(they have AN fuel filters too) Or if you had something in mind already I can quote you equivalent. I mean, obviously you'll need some hose(you can have stainless or black exterior braid (both have a stainless inner braid), what color fittings. etc. I like to use all black hose and fittings because I think it looks clean and less cluttered. Plus the nylon outer braid doesn't scratch everything it touches so easy.

Be careful what you get, some cheap chinese hose ends are a PITA to assemble and then they can only be used once.

Man..how do you even know where to start with that?

There are many good guides to harness thinning, I used the pinouts and diagrams from LT1swap.com. I got rid of EVAP, Low OIL sensor, low coolant sensor, AC HI/LO sensor, AC clutch, passenger and driver bank 2 O2 and probably one other I am forgetting. I unpinned and pulled through. If I were to snip and pull through the harness thinning could have gone quicker. This was my first harness thin so I wanted to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. Some people just snip the connector off and leave it. I wanted a nice clean look.
