Is it just me or is your hood hinge cut down?
According to LT Holman formerly of power nation tv, the stock injectors are stupid small., like 19 lbers. He put 36 lbers in his.Man @ZooMad75 spoiling all my surprises. We are going to run it with a Holley Teminator X which will use the 4x crank signal to do CnP ignition. Nate already hooked me up with some coil packs.
I already have a cam and new valve springs. The other thing I need is new injectors as the factory set won't work for the power we should get out of it. From what I read the L29 injectors are junk anyway and a lot of people trade them out for some Ford application injectors.
Interesting, I’ve never seen one break like that.Is it just me or is your hood hinge cut down?
I’ve broke multiple lefts and one right fender in a similar fashion. Not nearly as bad, but once that spot welded bracket comes loose from the inner structure it’s the most annoying rattle on the planet.Interesting, I’ve never seen one break like that.

Mine was from the tire stuffing into the fender under compression multiple times.
I think not doing anything with the fenders did it. The hinges were holding the top of the fenders together. On the driver side I didn't have to remove any of the top bolts.I meant the hood hinge breakage.
The fenders, yeah I’ve had to weld mine back together before. And in my brothers old C10 that got some prerunner usage!
Pretty soon you’ll run out of stuff to take off. When you do start putting fresh parts back on. Just don’t sooner than later. Many a truck have ended up as a storage shelf in that state.
Engine cage time!I will take one more thing off. I want to redo the shock hoops. Enough has changed since I first set them up, they aren't quite the right height. I also realized they aren't tied together quite like I would like.
That's the idea. Before I just had a bar across the engine to the tops of the shock hoops. I learned the hard way on the K5 that the frame will crack otherwise. But I realized the way I connected the bar to the hoops will allow it to pivot, so it's not helping to stiffen the frame.Engine cage time!

Truggy time!I still like having the enclosed cab.
I wish I would have kept mine, have even thought about putting one back on.I still like having the enclosed cab.
