That is the wrong sticker on that motor. Timestamp 2:03.
Where did you buy the winch from?

I know, that's why I pulled the motor off and checked the part number. Luckily it says 12K. The piece the sticker is applied to is a bolt on cover so they probably just put the wrong motor cover on the winch. At this point I think it's kinda funny. That is the wrong sticker on that motor. It was an actual gift from someone else, not like my usual truck parts gifts to myself. I'm not certain where it came from.
I think he's looking for the middle man.China
He's usually out with the Nitro Circus boys. I think the Warn is the minimum price of entry for what they do. Anything less would probably end up in a smoking heap of parts.Or just be like me and don't do anything stupid and get your truck into a situation where a winch or 3 are needed.
Oh, Wait. Never mind. Do not follow me for suggestions.
I do have a snatch block. I don't have true winch line extension, but it's on my "want" list. For now we use straps.get a snatch block and a extra length of rope for next time you need a crazy pull so you dont burn this one up .
if using synthetic rope you need a specific block for that .I do have a snatch block. I don't have true winch line extension, but it's on my "want" list. For now we use straps.
Yes it’s for synthetic rope, the one I have is rated for WLL 22,000 lbs.Is this a synthetic rope snatch block? Id be interested in seeing what the tethered orange rope is rated for. Id imagine this is secured to a tree via a strap, and a shackke?
Ah cool! What size is the sheave like red thing, and the rope diameter? Picture makes it look small, but I wouldn't think it would be.
