89 Suburban DD Build (finally a 3/4ton)

I love the way your grille turned out, but I have to say, I'm not too enthused about the black wheels, makes the whole thing too dark. My $0.02.

Just a shot from when we took the kids sledding at my parents after a couple inches of snow. The chrome ringless look is working for me right now, but if I get bored of it the chrome snaps on

Picked up a 2.5" lift for the burb today from 86454K30, thanks again it was nice meeting you Larry. I got home and started pricing out greaseable bushings for it.

Make sure you post up pics ASAP after its lifted to 2.5" I have been curious myself on the height and stance of a burban with a 2.5"

Will do. Need to get the bushings, Repaint the springs, probably replace the rear springs with some 3/4ton springs and either find some 33x12.5s or some 32s. I have 3 sets of 6 lug wheels, 15x10 alloys, 15x8 rallys and the stock 15x7 aluminum wheels. If I run the stock wheels im gonna have strip them down and polish them or paint then. They look bad and the holes for factory center caps are stripped out.

Same here, looking to see just how a 2.5 lift looks. I'm torn between 2, 2.5, and 3 inch for the lift. I think I'm going to limit myself to 32" tires as I don't want to make too much of a dog out of it. And I really don't want to spend big money on a gear swap.

I have side markers just like those from LMC. They look sweet. Matter of fact, the wife bought mine too!

I think I might try to find the headlights else where. Right now Im dragging my feet on the lift, I feel like if In tearing into the suspension I need a 14bff in the rear.
