I’m going to order two 2.5” 45’s to get the exhaust hooked up this weekend.Working on the pump access hatch now. Steering box plate kit is here also. Holy sheet!

I don’t think it would be necessary.Found the hatch. Would the 13x24 be better than the 13x17?
Detroit PowerI've been looking at diesels for a tow rig, maybe I have it all wrong?? One of these with a flatbed and some ramps would be cool. a la Wade style (sort of). https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/d/torrance-2002-freightliner/6934480695.html
That is way too much $$ for a day cab single axle truck of that age especially in California where it is not compliant and can not be used commercially.I've been looking at diesels for a tow rig, maybe I have it all wrong?? For me it is a no brainer because I already have the truck and I can't get much for it unless I part it out and the interior is trashed so custom interior makes sense.I hear you. I've been day dreaming about a flat bed hauler like this for a while now. A sleeper cab version would be ideal. I would not need to use it commercially so it would be an RV also. Any metal loads big enough for a semi to haul are dropped off by our vendors. The in between would be a used roll back tow truck, but the initial cost is still way higher than a big rig with a DIY flat bed conversion
And I see tiny cameras faking the landing. Well played!
