Thanks to @ktmoutfront for these, I can’t wait to put them on, I hate the brush guard that’s on it currently.

Glad someone will use them. They were going in the trash.
Money has been holding this back, I do have a short block now, 383, strongly considering these heads, can anyone recommend anything better for about the same price?

I went with Edelbrock. I did have to get longer pushrods, which I didn't know until I got the heads and started reading the literature. I hadn't thought about exhaust port size, and found out that I needed something to match up.
I don't have much feedback on them as I haven't driven it more than a couple of blocks. So far all is well, and runs decent. But past that I don't know.

I have no clue if I’d need any weird pushrods or something so any help on how I’d figure that out would be great.
I’m planing on an Edelbrock 2701 intake. The guy from tbichips.com recommended the intake/cam.

I didn't find out about needing the different pushrods until I read through the paperwork that came with the heads. I hadn't called anyone with Edelbrock, or dug deeper than what was online.

That would be a good idea, normally what I do is drop the money and figure out the parts don’t work well together until I have them!
I’ve almost got everything in my shopping cart and I’m already at $2,247 
Not counting the distributor I’ll pick up locally and paying to have the chip fixed up.
This is the hardest part of being married, 2 years ago I’d have put this on the CC and never looked back. Instead now I have to figure out how much overtime I gotta work to order all this stuff so it doesn’t get charged. I wish money grew on trees.
I’m so ready to order this stuff so I can put this together and enjoy it again!
I’m starting to see why LS swaps happen, if it weren’t for the newly rebuilt 700r4 I might have considered it, maybe I should have. But either way, we’re going this direction and it’s not LS

That ship sailed many months ago. I considered it briefly but it sounded like even more work. I’m lazy, this is just bolting and unbolting parts...and spending money
I’m good at that.Been a little side tracked, the short block has been built for a while, waiting on funds (that I’m constantly robbing from) to build so I can order heads and all the other stuff. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna ditch the TBI stuff for a pro flo 4 setup, not sure yet.
In the mean time I’ve filled in the front pit at the shop, now we’re moving toward having a practical place to work on stuff! It was a long days work but we got 40 cubic yards in the hole, after the new year we’re going to rebar and pour concrete!
I left the runners so that I didn’t turn the space into unusable space in the mean time. When I finally get to the final stage we’ll pick up the metal but in the mean time I can still park two full size vehicles here if needed.

Look at the dart SHP heads. Budget head, flows decent.
Push rods , anytime you build a engine that is “non” stock you should check your pushrod length .
It is VERY important to a proper valvetrain operation.
Things like aftermarket heads , roller rockers ,different valve heights will also effect this measurement.
Even on “stock” engines it’s worth checking if you have had the heads or block decked.
