Got both the CV and the male spline turned down and ready to install into the tube. Just waiting on Spicers to show up so I can cut the tube and weld it together.
Wheeling this weekend, without shocks and maybe minus doors.

Since you seem to know the Ford driveline stuff really well for the Chevys, what's the deal with the front Super Duty shafts and there use in a K5 application? I have access to them fairly often when we change them out at work. I got one form a 2011? super duty now but that one has a blown up cage for the cv.

They are a cheap alternative to HAD and the like. It's a 1350 CV so it's plenty strong. You would just need to convert the t case to a flange to run it.
I’ve tried searching for a flange for my 205 but I keep getting stuck on Toyota stuff for some reason? You know where to find one? I have a sooper dookey driveshaft in my dodge that I want to use in my 77 but it’s a flange style double cardan.

Assuming it's a regular 1350 pattern you can buy them from ORD.

That took all of about 30 seconds to find what I needed... :doah: I forget how much stuff they have available.

I think you need a big boy output though....can't remember if they sell them in the 27 or 29 splines.
Looks like they just have them for the 32 spline. I’ll have to look but I’m pretty sure that’s what mine has.

Well the rear would already be 32 spline, but on a 205 front it's only 30.

I have the Ford 205 though.

I swapped mine out for one that was in a dodge so it’s 32 spline now. I think... now I’m questioning myself

Well went wheeling and she failed in spectacular fashion. Blew my fancy new front driveshaft apart, and took the brand new Dana 60 1350 yoke with it, and then launched the newly rebuilt PS box off the frame. Actually sheared two of the bolts and then broke the webbing on the box. Odd considering the lock nuts were still attached.

You must’ve been having a lot of fun

Picked up a 2wd box, a 14FF 1410 strap yoke that I will convert to U bolts, and a complete 1410 driveshaft with the 21/22 spline 1410 yoke for my SD CV shaft. Paid 70$ for it all.

Now all I need is a Dana 60 1410 yoke to have it mobile, and soon a 205 1410 yoke and a 16 spline 1410 slip for my rear shaft to have a mostly 1410 setup. Not a bad day.

If you end up looking for a 1410 60 yoke in the JY look for 3/4 ton gasser dodges. That’s what my rear 60 came out of in my dodge and it’s 1410.
