91 Blazer for backcountry exploring/ camping and trail crawling.
What did you use for actuators on the tailgate and do you think one would work well on new pickups?

I have a race buddy with a similar setup. Awesome work!

Never seen an electric over hydraulic steering assist. Does this use a ram like a normal hydraulic assist setup or is it just like a backup power assist if the engine dies?

I'm not exactly sure how it works. I will call and get a better explanation before I talk out of my ass. I do know that if power fails(engine dies) there is a button in the cab that will use the battery power to keep the pump going

Just my 2 cents:

Look at dodge D60 front axles too. There are only a few small differences between GM and Dodge front axles. Might have to regear though if your going 4.56. Mine is from a dodge and went in without much complaint. I think anything pre 93 will have the passenger drop.

Got my 14BFF and D60 for $1300 package deal. Keep scouring marketplace and eBay. Deals are out there, just getting harder to find.

I was wondering to myself if a Dodge Dana 60 would work. I think I even passed over one the other day. Thank you
