91 Blazer for backcountry exploring/ camping and trail crawling.
I was wondering to myself if a Dodge Dana 60 would work. I think I even passed over one the other day. Thank you
Make sure to get 1992 or older. Also I think about 75ish and older had the less desirable locking hubs.

20210603_150355.jpgNew (refurbished) 2wd steering gear that's been modified so I can turn the wheels easier. Crazy how damn heavy it is.
 
I ended up using a 4x4 post and a small chain hoist to line my steering box back up when re-installing it, I still had all my steering linkages hooked to it though.

Definitely can see where the frame reinforcement plate is a good idea
