I've got a few but just mainly dealing right now and "collecting" the right parts I need. My driveway looks like crap, so we'll leave it at that.Dang Wes, I didn't even think you had a truck anymore.![]()

Come awn Wes, get with it! I'm slow as hell so you've got plenty of time to catch up.![]()
Ain't that the truth! Weren't you building this when I left Mobile 4 YEARS AGO?!!!!!!

i am getting ready to start shopping axles. i have 14 bolt ff rear 10 blt front 8 lug, scored a deal on some 17 wheels but they have little back spaciong not dished very much is says 2mm on box dont know how to figure that one.
so i am looking for axles that will be wider to push the tires out a little bit. sugestions,
i was thinking van rear dually front, thought dually rears where narrow. guess im reading not

I'll get you some pics and measurements but it will probably be tomorrow before I can do it.
You know I know I'm not the first to do lifted 52's but you're right, no one is really talking. At this point I wish someone else had been the first giunea(?) pig to post pics because I might have changed things a little.
1st) my shackle angle is not where it needs to be but I don't want to punch anymore holes trying to move the shackles around. When I moved the hanger I just pivoted the bracket on the lower front rivot hole, this way I only needed to drill 3 fresh holes. To do it again I might push it just a hair more forward.
2nd) the height... ugh... In my mind I wanted something just a fuzz taller than Boz42's truck, what I got looks like 8". On paper I think it should be about 7" total -
Front
2.5" lift springs with the overload removed
The typical 52" swap nets +4" so... 2.5" + 4" - .5" (1 spring thickness) = ~6" (+ 1" body lift)
Rear
4" lift 56" springs with overload removed, 2.5 ORD flip and a Zero Rate
4" - .5" (1 spring thickness) + 2.5" + 1" = 7" (+1" body lift)
The truck sit's level and I would think the total lift should equal the lowest amount - the front.![]()
My B52's are in the rearward position, I would like to move it forward but it would interfere with my winch mount (and make my shackle angle even worse). I have my springs in the forward most hole.
I have considered swapping to 2" lift 56's up front to fix my shackle angle issue but I haven't studied that enough to know where the axle would end up (due the offset center pin).
i think 4" 52's with overload removed might be a little bit too tall for me. i also need to adjust my shackle angle with the lifted spring.
