Paint the bumper whatever you decide to get. If you powder coat it when it chips you are SOL to fix it.

yeah I'm pretty anti powder coat for most things. Rustoleum satin black is perfect. Cheap and easy to touch up.
Love the ARB bumper look myself. Would love to have one on a future 88-98 someday.

I got the 205 mounted up to the trans. I’m using the first hole on the clocking ring. So like 2-2.5” up. That just happens to be perfect for the stock crossmember. It clears damn near perfect. Just need to trim the lip off the bottom part. I’m also super glad I went with the advanced adapter spacer rather than the short input. It pushed the case back far enough to clear the crossmember. I’ll probably cut the corner off and put a plate in at an angle to give a little more room. That and a poly trans mount should keep things happy.
I even have enough case over the crossmember to make an easy support using the factory side mount bolt holes on the case.
