That reminds me of these days where with the volatile material costs, especially last year, and long lead times, some of my suppliers and distributors, some large aftermarket companies, were raising prices and/or adding a surcharge on orders even if you ordered them over a year before and they hadn't delivered yet!
Now I didn't do that to my customers, it does not seem like the right thing to do. Also, although it doesn't help business losing money on a sale, it makes it worse if you lose customers and future sales from my perspective.
