Climbed the logs with ease. Gotta move the bumps down, and try to clearance the header to my fron drive shaft will not rub.

Needless to say Doubler is awesomeness!!! Front digs are awesome as well!!!

I need to figure out a new reservoir for the power steering pump as it pushes the excess fluid off the top, and when it does that it doesn't have enough fluid and the pump starts wining. Anyone that is running the stock hydroboost pump, and reservoir?

And oil is leaking from the top of my distributor, where the cap meets. I'm guessing there is a seal missing or something.
Sweet Jess. and yes the front digs are cool!!!!!

here is a pic of my hydroboost reservoir setup...I just made sure the rezy was at the highest point in the system (except for the lines to the hydroboost unit) The cooler I had to mount lower to keep it full, and keep it from draining back into the reservoir when it wasn't running.

Jess, not sure about a HEI, but the older dist. had a seal in the dist housing right around the pole piece, it was more of a grease well to keep the pole piece bushings greased....may have to pull the dist. and remove the gear, then pull the pole piece out to check the housing.

Yup gonna do that, or pull one from the junk yard and freshen it up with new parts. I have a feeling something just is not right with my current ebay billet dizzy. I picked up the bilstiens yesterday. They are like brand new. Probably have 100 miles on them. Love it when I get a deal.

hmm seems I forgot the pic of the hydroboost reservoir...

Got the bilstiens mounted, and wow do they make a difference. Switched the longer procomps to the rear. Also got the detent mod done to the 203, now it shifts nice and smooth and doesn't jump out. I moved the reservoir up on the cage and have a little over 2 feet of house so I think that should solve my problem. And lastly the four points mounted to the cage :)

Yup.. I was just bummed on the house stuff and not finding what I want. Now that I have an accepted offer, I do not need to sell it.

2 ft of house? :haha: Sorry, I just could pass that up, I'm guessing your house is pretty nice.

The truck looks good. Maybe you can finally take it wheeling now? So I guess this means you aren't moving to W michigan either?

Nope not moving to West Michigan. And yes, house has been on my mind. Yah I can't wait to wheel it.

More little stuff today.

D-rings to strap the spare on.

Improved my departure angle

Trimmed the front grill up.

Snagged another optima for almost free. This one is a deep cycle and is huge!!! Its offset, I have never seen one like this. Oh well it only cost 10 bucks because someone returned it as a core and I bought the core :) Tested good in the store :)

I know that blue is the deep cycle marine, its the cells are offset making the battery longer rather than stacked like my other optima

Thanks after searching yesterday its quite common. This sucker is just huge, and after looking at the optima page looks like this is the big daddy. 900CCA 75AH.

Starting to get real pissed at the motor in this thing. It ran perfect for 1 day and since has ran like crap. I can get it running but it dies the second I let off the gas. Things that are new in it are

Knock sensor
IAC
TPS
CTS
ICM
plugs
wires

Gonna grab a used dizzy from the junk yard and through it in as oil is still coming up through the dizzy. I'm hoping thats the issue is oil getting in the pickup coil causing inconsistant firing. I did test the pickup with my meter and its within the range. I guess Illl find out when I put the used dizzy in put it back to tdc and if it doesn't work then I may just buy a carb or fast efi. Sick of this crappy GM tbi stuff

Bummer man, I hope you get it figured out and running like a top again.
