Back In the Saddle Again

I'm curious about what you are going to come up with because I have Tuffy console that I haven't used but I don't care for how it's built. I keep thinking that I can rework it to something better.

I had the tuffy conse in my last one and i hated how cheap the lock mechanism was i could easily pry it open with my hands. This one it locks onto the edge of the top 3” wide. So it cant be easily pry’d open. Ill end up covering this one in fabric and build a cushion for the arm rest part as well.

Well thanks for the information about the lock. I haven't messed with this one at all. It was traded to me.

I wonder if this is the right dimensions for the switch location?

Well, got everything wiring wise buttoned up. Saftey Cap on breaker, inline fuse for seats. Wired in the stereo. Only issue is I don’t have any speakers. Thinking Ill just rock a BT speaker for the drive for the time being. Everything is breaking in together nicely and the more I drive it the smoother it gets. I think I will make it with very little issue.

And it works intermittently so I can see where I am fuel wise every once in a while lol

Wish I could juat find a pair of 6x9 speakers in boxes to have behind the seats just for the trip. Seems like those are a thing of my childhood now though.
